Typical Score Increases
The average score for each ACT is normed to be an 18-19. We use the results from Practice Test #1 to set individualized goals for students to target. Those who complete the BREAKTHROUGH ACT PREP challenge can expect (but should not necessarily limit their expectations to) the following increases in their ACT score:
Students scoring in ...
... the 10-16 range should expect to score at least a 20.
... the 17-22 range should expect a 4-point increase.
... the 23-27 range should expect a 3-point increase.
... the 28-32 range should expect a 2-point increase.
... the 33-35 range should expect a 1-point increase.
Remember: The more effort you put in (i.e. attending each class and completing your homework assignments each week), the more success you will have. It is not uncommon for students boost their scores far more than the expected increases shown above. Good luck taking on the Breakthrough ACT challenge!
